Whether you are just starting out or have a mature dental practice, you probably have dreams for the future. If turning your dream into reality means taking out a loan, Delta Dental wants to help. We’ve partnered with Peapack-Gladstone bank to offer a competitive loan program for our participating dentists in New Jersey and Connecticut.

Depending on your preference, you can choose your loan terms of either 1% below market rates or 0% interest the first year.

“What impresses me about PGB is the bank’s level of understanding and commitment to our participating dentists. They know how to value your practice, and can walk you through various financial options.” - Dr. Keith Libou, Chief Clinical Officer, Delta Dental of New Jersey, Delta Dental of Connecticut

Diabetes Testing Receives CDT Code
It’s official: The ADA Code Committee recently approved a new CDT code for HbA1c diabetes testing. Delta Dental of New Jersey recently piloted a program that enabled network dentists to incorporate the screening for patients at risk for diabetes. The success of that program led the Delta Dental Plans Association to suggest the new code to the ADA Code Committee. “This is one more example where Delta Dental is taking leadership in recognizing the role of dentists in the treatment of diabetic patients and patients with other systemic issues,” says Dr. Keith Libou, Chief Clinical Officer. “This is a major step forward in recognizing the link between good oral and overall health.”

A ‘Brighter’ Way to Schedule Appointments
Free service lets your Delta Dental patients use an app to make appointments—and it integrates with your practice management system, too!

We’ve partnered with the technology company Brighter to help you and your patients automate appointment scheduling. Delta Dental members may now use an app or go online to request an appointment date and time with their Brighter-enabled dentist.

Once you are Brighter-enabled, your office staff can either confirm the request or suggest a different date and time. You can also use Brighter to contact your patients and send friendly reminders by email and text when something changes with their appointment.
This service is free—and works with your practice management system, too!

One study found that patients were twice as likely to select dentists who use Brighter Schedule. It also reduces marketing and administrative expenses, and decreases no-shows and last-minute cancellations.
To get started, verify your Delta Dental directory listing by contacting Brighter at brighter.com/deltadental or calling 888–328–5414.
