Our Dual Option lets companies of 10+ enrolled employees offer a choice between two plan options. Employees can choose coverage that fits their specific needs instead of settling for a one-size-fits-all plan; they can stay with the lower-cost plan or “buy-up” to get more robust benefits.


Here are a few of the benefits of the dual option:


Premium savings
Letting employees choose between options can provide premium savings for the employer, as many may choose the lower-cost plan.
  Benefit choices
For example, one employee may buy-up to the richer plan for an orthodontic benefit, and a coworker who doesn’t need that benefit can choose the lower-cost plan.

Employees expecting additional dental care can buy-up into the richer plan for the coming year. They can return to the lower-cost plan the following year.
