Michael Rodrigues Promoted to Vice President & Controller of Delta Dental of NJ & CT
PARSIPPANY, N.J. — April 15, 2019— Delta Dental of New Jersey and Delta Dental of Connecticut are pleased to announce Michael Rodrigues has been promoted to Vice President.
Michael was previously Assistant Vice President and Controller and, in his new role, will be responsible for overseeing the Commissions, Financial Reporting, Purchasing/Office Services, and Treasury functions.
“Mike has consistently provided strong leadership and strategic financial best practices to Delta Dental of New Jersey ever since he joined four years ago,” said James Suleski, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Delta Dental of New Jersey. “This promotion affords him the opportunity to take his skills to the next level.”

Michael Rodrigues is Vice President and continues to serve as Controller of Delta Dental of New Jersey and Delta Dental of Connecticut. Prior to joining New Jersey’s leading dental benefits company in 2015, Michael held audit and accounting-related positions at Withum Smith + Brown, Goldstein, Karlewicz & Goldstein LLP Certified Public Accountants, EisnerAmper, and Sony Electronics, Inc. Michael is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. Michael also serves on the North Board of Junior Achievement of New Jersey. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Rutgers University and has been a licensed New Jersey Certified Public Accountant since 1999.
